Robert Hudson is a senior editor-at-large at Zondervan. With his wife, Shelly Townsend-Hudson, he has written Companions for the Soul, and with Duane W. H. Kindle version is useless

This review only applies to the Kindle version. I bought the paperback, which I'll get it in a few days, and was offered the opportunity to buy the Kindle version for $2.99. I bought the Kindle version and immediately opened it. What a waste of money, small amount though it was! How is this book *not* worth $2.99? By not having an itemized table of contents or an index. I kept thinking I was missing something, a function of some sort that would bring up either a detailed TOC or an index. But no, you have to swipe page by page through the entire content of the book, unless you want to jump to the acknowledgments and other front and back matter. This is a *reference* book, for heaven's sake. I have never posted a one-star review and never thought I would, but I am utterly bewildered at how Zondervan could release this book without a practical way to navigate the content. It is useless. What a disservice they have done to Robert Hudson.
